NORCAL PREMIER SOCCER LEAGUE, SPRING/SUMMER, 2006 - UNDER 14 GIRL'S SILVER  - 8 TEAMS

Coaches, Managers, The major focus in designing this schedule
was using double headers to reduce the need for travel between
the Bay Area teams and those in the Fresno and Sacramento areas.

With the consent of both coaches, please feel free to make any changes
that might make sense. However, please do not individually change a
morning game of a double header that would lead to a fresh team playing an
afternoon game against a team that has already played a game in the morning.

In the younger age groups, some teams have not given enough attention to the
travel, eating and rest needed by the teams traveling between double headers.
A four hour interval between the start of the morning and afternoon games
seems reasonable. This division has two of the farthest apart teams
(Manteca & Madera) that I have used, but I think that is preferable compared to two long trips.

Since this division is only playing 7 games, I suggest you consider
a 3 game "final four" Saturday/Sunday tournament format on July 15th and 16th.
Points would carry forward. All tems would contribute to the cost of referees.
We need a site - 2 fields Saturday and 1 on Sunday to make this happen!

The 5th through 8th place teams would have a similar format.
